Model-specific error code lookup, offline
A blinking fault code is the fastest path to the actual problem — as long as the meaning you get back belongs to the unit in front of you, and you can get it without a signal.
The problem
Fault code tables live online, so with no signal you are down to a photo of the code, a guess, or a walk back to the truck to find a bar of service.
The bigger problem is that codes are usually looked up by brand. The same code can mean different things on two units from the same manufacturer, and a brand-level answer sends you chasing the wrong circuit.
Codes matched to the model number
We are moving fault code data down a level: keyed to model number, not shared across a brand.
- Enter or scan the model number and get the code list that actually applies to that unit
- Wider coverage than today — more manufacturers, more models, and more of each model’s codes
- Where a manufacturer really does share a code table across a series, it says so rather than guessing
- Jump from a code straight into the diagnostic steps for that model
Works with no connection
The code data for equipment you work on gets cached on the device, so a lookup resolves locally and the workflow does not stop in a mechanical room.
- Search by model and code with no signal
- Cache refreshes quietly whenever the app has a connection
