Update reports by voice

The report is usually written twice: once in your head at the equipment, and again on a keyboard hours later. Voice is meant to collapse that into one pass.

The problem

Writing a report at the end of the day means reconstructing calls from memory and a few photos. Details get thinner the later you write them, and the paperwork stacks up at exactly the point you want to be done.

What we are building

Spoken input that edits the report itself — not a voice memo attached to it. You talk through what you found, and it lands in the right fields as text you can review and correct.

  • Dictate findings, readings, and recommended repairs into their own sections
  • Speak while your hands are busy, then review the wording before it goes out
  • Everything stays editable — voice fills the report in, it does not send anything

This one needs a connection

Dictating into a report is online only. Turning what you say into report text runs on our servers, so it needs a signal — unlike offline voice support, which keeps the guided diagnostic workflow answering to your voice with no bars.
