Full Diagnosis

Fault on the fan coil's electrostatic dust-collecting air cleaner, an optional accessory fitted in the return-air path upstream of the coil rather than a refrigerant- or water-side component. The unit applies high voltage across the collecting element to charge and trap airborne particulate; when the element, its insulator, or the high-voltage supply faults, the controller de-energizes the electrostatic cleaner and flags the fault while normal fan and coil operation can continue. Unlike C4, which flags a failed heat-exchanger liquid-pipe thermistor on the coil itself, AH is isolated to the accessory air-cleaning module and does not indicate a coil or water-side problem.
