Ask a follow-up question with Side Chat
Ask about a reading or check within your diagnosis, and recover when Side Chat cannot answer.
Open Side Chat inside a diagnosis to ask about a reading, a check, or the next step.
- Open the diagnosis you are working on.
- Tap Side Chat in the guided diagnosis screen’s bottom toolbar.
- Type your question, or use the microphone and review the text.
- Send it and read the answer before continuing the check.
Include the measurement and its units. For example: “What should I check before replacing this part?” or “How can I confirm this pressure reading?” Check the answer against the equipment manual and your field measurements.
If Side Chat is unavailable
Side Chat needs internet access. Reconnect and wait for any earlier request to finish. On a personal account, also check your token balance. Team tokens are unlimited.
If a question fails, check your connection and retry once with a shorter question. If it still fails, contact support with the message shown.
