What It Means
Control board detected refrigerant leakage based on coil temperature behavior.
Troubleshooting guide for the Bryant Ductless Mini-Split system fault EC.
Control board detected refrigerant leakage based on coil temperature behavior.
Not sure which one it is — or if it's none of these? Try ACLogics today.
Refrigerant Leakage Detection. If coil temperature behavior indicates leakage after compressor start, the display shows EC and the unit turns off; sensor, PCB, leakage, or blockage may be involved.
Inspect the refrigerant circuit for leaks using electronic leak detector or UV dye. Check all flare connections, service valves, and brazed joints. Repair leak, evacuate, and recharge to nameplate specification.
ACLogics walks you through Bryant Ductless Mini-Split diagnostics step-by-step — so you confirm the cause before swapping parts.
