Suction Pressure Sensor Fault. The control detects a suction pressure transducer signal outside its valid voltage range and flags the sensor rather than the refrigerant circuit itself. Because the compressor's low-pressure protection logic depends on this reading, the board disables normal variable-capacity modulation on the affected circuit until a valid signal returns, though the system does not necessarily shut down completely. Unlike code 54 (suction temperature sensor fault), which involves a thermistor reporting temperature, this code involves a voltage-output pressure transducer riding a 5V reference supply — a wiring or supply-voltage problem here reads very differently on a meter than a thermistor fault would. Replace or reseat the transducer only once wiring and supply voltage are confirmed good.
Check suction pressure sensor wiring for damage, corrosion, or loose pins at the harness connector. Verify the board is supplying a clean 5V reference to the transducer — a sagging or noisy supply will produce an out-of-range reading even with a good sensor. Measure transducer output voltage across its range if possible and compare to the pressure it should be reporting. Inspect for actual refrigerant system issues (overcharge, undercharge, restriction) that could push real pressure outside the sensor's rated range and trigger a fault that isn't the sensor's fault. Replace the transducer only after wiring and supply voltage are confirmed correct.
