This is functionally the same class of fault as JA (high pressure sensor) and JC (low pressure sensor), and as 75/76 (the System No. 2-specific pressure sensor codes), but J1 applies where the control does not distinguish which side of the circuit the sensor serves. Compressor operation is locked out on the affected circuit until the sensor reading returns to a valid range.
